Ronald C. Taylor, DDS, MSD
Dr. Ronald Taylor received his bachelor’s degree in 1991 from the State University of New York at Stony Brook. He enrolled in dental school at the University of Maryland in 1992 and in 1995 he did an externship at the University of Dundee Dental School in Dundee, Scotland. In 1996, he completed his dental training and received his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from the University of Maryland. Dr. Taylor returned to New York and completed advanced training in a General Practice Residency (GPR) program at The Bronx-Lebanon Hospital Center in 1997. In 1999, he completed his endodontic specialty training and successfully defended his thesis, receiving his certification in endodontics and his Master of Science in Dentistry (MSD) degree from Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio.
Dr. Taylor practices in Bowie, Laurel and Silver Spring, Maryland. In addition, he currently serves as an associate professor at Howard University College of Dentistry and as an appointed member of the Dean’s Faculty as clinical assistant professor at the University of Maryland, Baltimore College of Dental Surgery. He has been a mock board examiner for endodontic residents in the United States Navy Post Graduate Endodontic Residency Program, the Medical College of Virginia, Boston University and the University of Maryland. He has been appointed by the American Board of Endodontics College of Diplomates to serve as a mentor to board eligible endodontists. He conducts several lectures and seminars on modern endodontics throughout the nation. He is a diplomate of the American Board of Endodontics and a member of the American Association of Endodontists, the American Dental Association, and the National Dental Association. Dr. Taylor is an alumnus of the Pankey Institute in Key Biscayne, Florida and he continues his study at the Walter Reed National Military Medical Center in Bethesda with the Edward C. Penick Endodontic Study Club. He is the past president of the Penick Endodontic Study Club.
Dr. Taylor is proud to be a specialist member of the American Association of Endodontists. He was also selected to Washingtonian Magazine's List of Top Dentists for 2009. Dr. Taylor is married to his lovely wife Chalissa and has two beautiful children, Kayla and Evan. He enjoys traveling, deep sea fishing and music.
Adam W. Orgel, DDS, MS
Dr. Adam Orgel is a native Washingtonian having attended Richard Montgomery High School in Rockville, MD. He received his bachelor’s degree in 2005 from the University of Maryland and continued on to obtain a Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) in 2009. He remained at the University of Maryland receiving a Masters in Oral Biology in 2012 while completing his endodontic residency. Dr. Orgel was presented with the Tony M. Ponti Memorial Award, which is presented to one graduating senior for excellence in clinical endodontics.
Dr. Orgel has been heavily involved with dental research. He worked as an intern at the National Institute of Dental and Craniofacial Research (NIDCR) at the National Institute of Health (NIH) and has had multiple publications. He also placed second at the 2012 American Association of Endodontics Annual Conference for his oral presentation on the relationship between oral bacteria and endodontic treatment.
Dr. Orgel practices in Bowie, Laurel and Silver Spring, Maryland. He is a specialist member of the American Association of Endodontists. In addition, he is a member of the American Dental Association, Maryland Dental Association, and Southern Maryland Dental Association. Dr. Orgel continues his learning at the Walter Reed National Military Medical Center in Bethesda with the Edward C. Penick Endodontic Study Club. He is also a founding member of the Premier Study Club in Bethesda.Dr. Orgel is married to his wonderful wife, Rachel. He enjoys traveling and playing tennis in his free time.
Badri Jureidini DDS, MS
Dr. Badri Jureidini attended the University of Wisconsin Madison for his undergraduate degree. He graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Zoology with High Honors in 1994. He attended the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry, and earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree with High Distinction in 1998. After 5 years of private practice in general dentistry in Minneapolis, Minnesota, he was accepted into the endodontic specialty program at the University of Minnesota from which he earned his Master of Science degree and Certificate in Endodontics in 2005.
Dr. Jureidini joined a large, private, group endodontic specialty practice in Minneapolis, and had the opportunity to treat a large number of patients of all ages with complex surgical and non-surgical endodontic needs. He concentrated on treating patients efficiently with compassion, care, and devotion to their individual needs. Focusing on treating patients like they are members of his own family continues to be his goal today. Dr. Jureidini also had the opportunity to treat underprivileged patients in underserved areas while living and practicing in Minnesota.
Dr. Jureidini joined RCT Endodontics in May 2016 and works at the Laurel office. He is dedicated to providing quality, pain-free endodontic care to his patients, and to customize each procedure to accommodate each patient’s comfort regardless of age, case complexity, medical history or anxiety level. He takes pride in patiently listening to each patient’s complaint, and addressing it to the best of his ability.
Juheon Seung, DDS, MS
Dr. Seung is an Endodontic Surgery Specialist. He earned his DDS from the University of Maryland, Baltimore School of Dentistry in 2013 and later returned to University of Maryland for a Master’s Degree in Science and Specialty Certificate in Endodontics. During his specialty training, Dr. Seung was the chief resident in addition to being a representative to the Advanced Dental Education Director’s Meetings. He’s also a recipient of a research grant from the American Association of Endodontist (AAE) Foundation for his research on Endodontic Material. Dr. Seung successfully completed a one-year residency at the Veteran’s Affairs Medical Center (VAMC) in Washington D.C prior to his specialty training.
Currently, Dr. Seung serves as a representative for new Endodontic practitioners at the AAE. He is a member of the American Dental Association (ADA), American Association of Endodontists and locally, the Maryland State Dental Association, Maryland Korean Dental Association, Edward C. Penick Endodontic Study Club. He is also affiliated with the University of Maryland Medical Center located in Baltimore, Maryland.
Dr. Seung currently lives in Baltimore with his wife and is an avid Terrapin basketball and Baltimore Orioles fan.
Chayne Coston, DDS
Dr. Coston completed his Bachelors of Science degree at Howard University, as well as graduated with a doctor of dental surgery at the top of his class from Howard University’s College of Dentistry. He further completed hospital-based training through a residency program at the Bronx-Lebanon Hospital Center in New York. This is where he chose to specialize in endodontics and completed a two-year residency program at the world-renowned New York University (NYU) College of Dentistry.
Dr. Coston brings his passion for dental surgery and root canals to our practices and our patients notice it right away!
Dr. Coston has volunteered his dental services through NYU’s global dental outreach with Henry Schein Cares. In addition, he has volunteered with the Boys & Girls Club of America, Congressional Black Caucus, Latino health fair, NDA Annual Day on Capitol Hill, Student National Dental Association oral cancer walk, Deamonte Driver Dental Project, Give Kids A Smile, Delta Phi Sigma clothing drive, Thanksgiving food drive, Special Olympics Haiti Relief Food Drive.
Dr. Coston is fluent in Spanish. He is an active member of the American Association of Endodontists (AAE), the American Dental Association (ADA) and the District of Columbia Dental Society (DCDS).
In his free time, Dr. Coston enjoys staying active, playing sports, reading, relaxing with friends and enjoying live comedy and music.
Gail M. Davis, DDS, MS
Dr. Davis is originally from Bloomfield Hills, Michigan. She attended Oakland University in Rochester, Michigan as an undergraduate and received her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Meharry Medical College in Nashville, Tennessee. She received her specialty training, Master of Science in Endodontics, from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. Dr. Davis moved to the D.C./Maryland area in August of 1992 where she began teaching at Howard University College of Dentistry. She came on board as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Endodontics. Dr. Davis worked as a clinical and didactic instructor in the department and has always maintained a part-time practice.
During her tenure in the Department of Endodontics, she received an award for her scholarly work published in April 2000. Dr. Davis published an article featured in The Journal of the American Dental Association entitled, "Treating Internal Resorption Using Syringeable Composite Resin." She also worked with the post-graduate students in the Advanced General Dentistry Program at Howard University College of Dentistry both clinically and didactically.
Dr. Davis has membership affiliations with the American Association of Endodontists, National Dental Association, American Dental Association and a local membership with The Edward Pennick Endodontic Study Club.
Dr. Davis has retired from Howard University and now practices in North Potomac, Maryland.
Outside of dentistry, Dr. Davis enjoys working with young people, community outreach, traveling, skiing, entertaining, decorating, and ballroom dancing.
Kweli K. Carson, DDS, MS
Dr. Carson was born in Tacoma, Washington but she spent most of her life in Maryland. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree from Spelman College in Atlanta, Georgia. She continued her studies at the University of Maryland Dental School in Baltimore, where she received her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. Dr. Carson then completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) residency program at the University of Maryland.
She then attended the University of Iowa College of Dentistry, where she received both her Certificate in Endodontics and her Master of Science degree in Oral Science. Dr. Carson is a board-certified member of the American Board of Endodontics. She is also a specialist member of the American Association of Endodontists, and continues her studies with the Edward Penick Endodontic Study Club at the Naval Hospital in Bethesda, Maryland.
Dr. Carson has been happily married to Marcus "Reggie" Carson, PharmD for over 20 years. They have one daughter, Nandi, who is the light of their lives. Dr. Carson enjoys reading, listening to music, and traveling when possible, but her greatest joy is simply spending time with friends and family.
Sodam Lee, DMD
Dr. Sodam Lee started her undergraduate studies at Ewha Womans University in Seoul, Korea, and completed B.A. degree in Biochemistry with honors at Mills College, Oakland, CA. She attained DMD degree from University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine in Philadelphia, PA. After graduation, Dr. Lee completed a year of General Practice Residency at Jersey City medical center in Jersey City, NJ. After practicing general dentistry in Baltimore, MD for five years, Dr Lee attended Temple University where she completed graduate training in Endodontics and received her Endodontics Specialty Certificate. Dr. Lee is a member of the American Association of Endodontists. Dr. Lee enjoys spending time traveling abroad and hiking.
Marc Jiorle, DDS
Dr. Marc Jiorle received his bachelor's degree from the University of Notre Dame in 2011. Inspired by his father, an orthodontist, and his sister, an endodontist, Dr. Jiorle decided to follow in their footsteps and pursue a career in dentistry. While attending Stony Brook School of Dental Medicine in Long Island, NY, Dr. Jiorle fell in love with all aspects of endodontics, particularly the aspect of getting patients out of pain. His passion for endodontics earned him the American Association of Endodontists Education Achievement Award. Upon graduating dental school in 2015, Dr. Jiorle gained additional training in all aspects of dentistry, with an emphasis in endodontics in a general practice residency at Newark Beth Israel Medical Center in Newark, NJ. Dr. Jiorle then continued his training with an endondontics residency at the University of Pittsburgh, where he also had the opportunity to treat our nation's heroes at the Pittsburgh VA Hospital and sought advanced training in endodontic microsurgery.
In his free time, Dr. Jiole enjoys cooking, exercising, playing basketball and softball, and is a diehard Notre Dame football fan. He is excited to be a new member of RCT and is eager to explore the DMV community to explore all that the area has to offer.
